Warburtons Boiled Eggs and Brilliant Soldiers

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, as it sets you on the right course to a healthy balanced diet and provides you with a great energy boost for the day ahead. Bread contains many of the nutrients needed for a healthy family diet. White bread is an important source of calcium, perfect for kids who need plenty of it for growing bones, whilst brown and wholegrain loaves are a fantastic source of fibre.

A fun favourite that kids will adore!

Ingredients

Serves 4 people
Preparation time: 5 to 10 minutes

Ingredients:
8 Warburtons Potato Cakes
4 boiled eggs
Low-fat butter

Recipe

Place eggs in a pan, cover with cold water and add a pinch of salt. Cook over a high heat and when the water is almost boiling, gently stir the eggs. Reduce the heat slightly to keep water bubbling but not fast boiling and stir the eggs once more. Cook your eggs for 3 minutes for a runny yolk, 5 minutes for a medium runny yolk or 7 minutes for a hard yolk.

Remove the eggs from the pan and place in egg cups. For an alternative to toast, make 'soldiers' out of toasted Warburtons Potato Cakes and spread with delicious butter.
